On Sunday the winning chant in the Make Some Noise! competition played on the maxi-screen during an AC Milan home game at San Siro stadium. It was the culmination of a special contest on the AC Milan and Nutrilite Facebook pages that started in mid-October.
AC Milan soccer fans submitted videos of their original chants, ten chants were selected out of the submissions, and then the community of fans from both pages voted for their favorite chant.
And the winner… “Rosso e Nero” by Fabiano Fumerola.
It was a collaborative effort that was performed by a choir loudly singing out the chorus. Mr. Fumerola’s chant submission even received coverage in his local newspaper. It was played a total of four times in the stadium on Sunday, much to the delight of the players and the fans in the stadium.
AC Milan won the game beating Chievo Verona by a score of 4-0, so perhaps the extra encouragement helped spur the team on to victory! : )

Amway U.K.’s Britain’s Top Real Role Model competition sought to identify the entrepreneur who would inspire others through their accomplishments and example.
They found their winner in Melanie Bryan, an award-winning social enterprise entrepreneur from Lancashire.
Judges selected Melanie for the honor over 36 other finalists for her work with hundreds of charities and communities to help them achieve their goals.
Melanie is founder of WhyNotChange, which works with organizations to build “‘can do’ (capability and confidence) to make a positive difference in your own lives, communities and businesses.”
It’s that “can do” attitude that made Melanie Britain’s Top Real Role Model and will serve as real inspiration for other entrepreneurs in the U.K. and beyond.
Yesterday Nutrilite and AC Milan announced their latest research findings on the link between nutrition and player performance in a press conference at the Milanello training center in Italy.
Nutrilite and MilanLab conduct comprehensive player assessments using genetic test data and bioinformatics. Nutrilite then creates individualized nutritional and supplement recommendations for players. As a result of the tailored programs, player recovery time has improved and some success has been seen with research into the prevention of non-tackle injuries.
MilanLab understands that the key to optimal performance is integrating balanced nutrition and supplementation into their players’ regimens.
And AC Milan football players get it, too.
They understand that the scientific partnership between Nutrilite and MilanLab is an ideal combination. That was made clear by Gianlucca Zambrotta at the press conference. He’s one of the players who have seen athletic performance improve through the nutrition program developed by Nutrilite and MilanLab scientists.
Just like you and me, athletes need balanced nutrition and supplementation in their diets to achieve optimal health. Not only to improve their playing careers, but also for the rest of their lives.
Stefan Starzyński was the president of Warsaw before and during the siege of the city by the German Army in 1939. In the city’s Bankowy Square, a statue was erected to honor him in 1993, but nearly two decades later, the memorial was looking rather unkempt.
Enter Amway employees and distributors, armed with the new line of Amway Home products being launched in Europe. On May 27, they volunteered to return the statue to its original splendor. The volunteers used several bottles of cleaning products, 50 liters of water and several hours of their time.
It was a dusty, dirty task, but the passersby and Polish media recognized that if any people - or any product – could do it, it was ours.
All season long the A.C. Milan soccer team has been putting the ball in the back of the net. Enough times to win the 2011 Serie A Championship.
Each goal they scored this year carried a little extra significance. Every time it happened, Nutrilite’s Goal by Goal campaign donated $2500 to fund the construction of a new sports center in the Poggioreale area of Naples.
The center and new soccer pitch was inaugurated last Thursday. A.C. Milan player Gianluca Zambrotta was there to cut the tape and kick the first ball across the field into the net, surrounded by dozens of schoolkids while doing so.
Everyone scored on this goal!

On Saturday, April 16, Nutrilite was the match sponsor of A.C. Milan’s game against Sampdoria – which A.C. Milan won 3-0! If you were at the game you saw Nutrilite branding, products and product experts throughout San Siro Stadium.
About 30 hostesses were roaming around the stands with Nutrilite questionnaires on Apple iPads. Nearly 800 fans participated in a health survey and received a personalized response on Monday that included customized recommendations about which products would best fit their nutritional needs.
After the match, a USD $150,000 check was donated by the Goal by Goal campaign, representing USD $2,500 for each goal scored by A.C. Milan players during the season so far. Star player Robinho accepted on behalf of the team. The funds will be used by the A.C. Milan Foundation to build a new sports center facility where it’s needed in an at-risk area of Naples.
Goal, scored!
In Amway’s case, our voices carry around the world. It might be our distributors talking about the business; news about us that travels faster than ever before; or our global social media properties where our fans and followers contribute to the conversation.
That’s why we’ve built Amway Voices, a content aggregator that will bring blog posts from our World Headquarters, Australia, Italy, Canada, United States, Korea, Russia, Germany, Taiwan and more into one place. It’s also where you’ll find our global Facebook posts, Twitter updates and the photographs we post to Flickr.
It’s a collection of voices that we simply couldn’t leave sitting on separate shelves.
If you’re a fan of the AC Milan soccer team, I’m guessing you already know they scored two goals last night in their match with Cesena in Milan. But as a fan you may or may not know about the goal that went into the net after the game. NUTRILITE and Amway announced last night that they would continue the Goal by Goal Campaign in support of the AC Milan Foundation. Amway Area manager Fabrizio Suaria presented the AC Milan Foundation with a check for US $85,000, a total that represents the 34 goals scored in the first half of the season. Star player Pato accepted the check on behalf of the team and the foundation.
And now that the second half of the season has begun, every time an AC Milan player scores a goal NUTRILITE and Amway will donate US $2500 to the foundation. The money raised will fund the construction of a multi-purpose sports center for children in a depressed, at risk area of Naples, Italy.
Over the past three years the Goal by Goal campaign, as part of Amway’s One by One Campaign for Children, has donated US $250,000 to the AC Milan Foundation.
NUTRILITE is a premier sponsor of the AC Milan soccer team and our scientists work directly with MilanLab’s scientists to provide nutritional consulting and supplementation choices to players on the team.
It’s becoming clear to me how influential the AC Milan soccer team is. Because, really, if you know something about soccer, you know AC Milan. And if you know something about vitamins and nutrition, you know, and “like”, NUTRILITE.
