59 goals toward helping children
The pressure is on for the AC Milan soccer team in Italy!
In the third year of the Nutrilite Goal by Goal program, Amway is making a donation to the AC Milan Foundation for every goal scored by the team. So far, 59 goals have been scored.
Amway delivered a $150,000 check to match the current goals after last week’s victory over Sampdoria. AC Milan champion Robinho accepted the check on behalf of the team.
The funds will go toward a new multipurpose sports center in a depressed, at-risk are of Naples that currently has no recreational center or playgrounds for area youth.
The project was developed in cooperation with Polisportiva Europea, as a way to emphasize character building and education through recreational activities.

Congratulations for the soccer cooperation; I like soccer and my Daugther # 20, 14 years old she play too, and she’s team is “Vision” in NJ. http://www.visionsoccer.org.

They just don’t give honor or prestige to Italy, but also hope to these children. It’s nice that they have set up a goal like this to reach out and donate money for the sake of these children, I hope that most teams will do the exact thing as this.

It’s nice that there are charities of this kind setup. Often underprivileged children are forgotten about. It would be nice to see similar activity in the UK!

I don’t sell Amway products or make money off of them in any way, but they do have quality products and apparently, they have charity minded executives who are willing to part with a chunk of change on behalf of some children. Way to go!- Paul
