Volunteering in China gets a boost
Volunteering is on the rise in China, and it’s about to get a boost.
Amway is partnering with the Ministry of Civil Affairs to identify volunteer projects, train volunteers and conduct research to grow volunteer support for social causes around the country.
Working through the Amway Charity Foundation, and the China Volunteers Association, a national nonprofit organization under the Ministry of Civil Affairs, a special fund has been set up to advance these efforts.
Amway is no stranger to mobilizing volunteers. Its group of 68,000 Amway volunteers across the country has contributed 1.54 million volunteer hours over the last fifteen years.
