Helping clear the path to self-sufficiency
Equipment and services for children with special needs can be very expensive - often cost prohibitive for families that most need the help.
Amway employees and distributors in Romania are helping to bridge the gap by providing funds to the Association for Support of Disabled Children in Romania. Last month, they donated $11,000 to the cause. The funds will go toward special equipment for children that require permanent care, as well as programs that help children with special needs to function in mainstream society.
Amway Romania has been supporting the Association since 2009 through support of summer and winter camps for children with special needs, providing Christmas gifts for children in the Association’s care, and promoting fundraising activities among Amway Business Owners and employees.
