Experiencing the corporate world in Delhi

Mar 28, 2012

Amway employees in India spend a lot of time out of the office volunteering for children at local schools and orphanages through the Sunrise Project. But rarely do those children get a chance to visit the volunteers.

Recently, the Amway Opportunity Foundation invited 22 children from Deepalaya School to Amway headquarters in Delhi.

They were hosted by Anshu Budhraja, Amway CFO and Senior Managing Committee Member of the Amway Opportunity Foundation.

The students took part in an interactive session meant to expose them to the working world, and motivate them to work hard to achieve their goals.

And they were inspired. In fact, a few children made commitments to pursue careers in information technology after seeing the Amway server and equipment room.

For many of the students, this was their first time visiting a corporation … but we know it won’t be their last.
