You have five minutes to meet old friends that are in town for the holidays……

First use Artistry Eye Colour in “Starry Night”, apply over entire lid starting at the lash line and blending to the brow.   Use Artistry Eye Colour in “Drift”, apply on the lower lid, starting at the lash line blending up to the crease.  Apply a soft line for eyeliner using the new Artistry Eye Liner in Ebony and lots of black mascara.  For foundation, use your color in the Artistry Tinted Moisturizer for a quick application.  For your blush, use one of new blushes from the Artistry “Lavish in Cashmere” collection and keep lips a soft neutral like the Artistry Lip Gloss in “Pink Shell”.  Grab you purse and you are out the door.

You have five minutes to meet your friends for lunch………….

Choose the Artistry Essential Makeup Kit that is compatible with your skin tone.  The kit comes in light, medium and dark and contains all of the coordinating products from an eye shadow quad with colors that also can be used for your blush color to a mineral foundation with all of the brushes that you will need to create a look in five minutes.   You are done and ready to start thinking about what is on the menu.

You have five minutes to greet unexpected guests this evening……….

Apply Artistry Ebony Eye Liner pencil along lash line and smudge to soften the line (use the little smudge applicator on the opposite end of the eye liner applicator).  Blend Artistry Eye Colour in “Spiral” starting at the lash line and blend to just above the crease.  Pop a little Artistry “Starry Night” just under the brow bone.  Lots of black mascara!  For foundation, use the Artistry Tinted Moisturizer and apply Artistry Mineral Foundation over the top to set the foundation and give you additional coverage that evening makeup requires.  Use one of the beautiful blushes that are available in the “Lavish in Cashmere” collection, they have a slight bit of shimmer that really adds a soft glow in evening light. Use one of the Artistry Lip Gloss Sheer Coverage such as Pink Ice for a soft lip color.  Whew, you just made it before the doorbell rings!

You have five minutes to meet friends after work for a get together……….

Reapply your concealer to get rid of those circles under your eyes that can happen from a hard day’s work.  Freshen up your mascara and reapply your blush.  Use the Artistry Lip Gloss Full Coverage in Ruby Red and you are ready!

Wow, we did it.  Hope these tips help when those little makeup crisis’s arise.  The key is to have the products handy to create “emergency” makeup.  It’s really simple and all you need is Artistry Essentials Makeup kit, Artistry “Starry Night”, “Spiral” and “Drift” Eye Shadows, Artistry Tinted Moisturizer in you correct color, a blush from the “Lavish in Cashmere” Collection and a couple of lip glosses.  If you have this makeup wardrobe, you will have every occasion covered even if you only have five minutes.

Let’s face it.  After a long, tough day at work, there aren’t many of us that can head on out for the night looking bright eyed and bushy tailed.  There are a few eye opening tricks that can help you appear as if you just awoke from an incredible and rare full 8 hours of sleep!

* Remove eye makeup that has settled and smudged throughout the day.  Try a gentle remover with moisturizing and rejuvinating ingredients like chamomile.

* Pat on a little creamy concealer  with your ring finger under your eyes and in the inner corners of your eyes where it tends to show dark shadows when you are tired.

* Add a touch of white eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes.  Instant eye opener!

* If you are applying eyeshadow, stick to a shimmery, not glittery, neutral color on the lid only.

* Curl your eyelashes!  Blast your curler with about 3 seconds of heat from your blow dryer.  Make sure to check that it’s not too hot to place near your eye!  It’s a better idea to curl your lashes pre-mascara to avoid pulling any out, but if you don’t have time to remove your mascara from earlier, curl very gently.

* Leave mascara to the upper lashes only.  Using mascara on upper and lower lashes tends to make the eyes look more closed on most women.  Add an extra coat if you are looking for more drama!

Now get out there and celebrate the weekend knowing you look gorgeously refreshed!

It’s an exciting day here in Artistry Marketing…

Artistry Intensive Skincare Renewing Peel  is now off of advanced order and available!

Haven’t checked it out yet? Let me give you the run down…

This incredible product smooths, softens, and restores radiance to your skin in just 8 minutes.

Over time, your fine lines and age spots begin to fade, your pores are minimized and firmness increases.

How does this work?  The product formula uses a unique and self-adjusting mushroom enzyme that adapts to the skin’s pH and knows precisely when to turn itself off.  It gently uncovers fresh, new skin without any irritation associated with a traditional chemical peel.

To sum it up, it’s a luminous, resurfaced complexion in 8 minutes flat – no pain, no hassle.

You all have to try this.  We couldn’t live without it!

Let’s be honest.  How many days a week do you really have a sufficient time to get ready? I’m not just talking about in the morning – after work get togethers, evening social events – any time really!  I am lucky if I am up in time to get my hair in a ponytail these days!  I have come across some incredible ways to cut the primping time MORE than in half while still looking just as put together.

Morning Chaos.
Whether you are chasing your little one, waking up just in time to hit the road, or having to finish up some last minute emailing before taking off, you can never have enough time in the a.m.!
- Instead of trying to accomplish your normally intensive skin care routine, try and make sure you use anti-aging product in the evening before bed and making sure you swipe on a healthy dose of SPF for the day! This will not only cut down time, but you will also achieve ideal results and skin protection.
- Instead of trying to smooth and tame your mane, embrace your do!  If it’s just not happening that morning, invest in some decorative hair ties to pull it back with some flair.

After a hearty workout.
Sometimes you just don’t have the time to re-shower after working out, especially if you do it after work hours!
- Instead of scrubbing your face and recleansing multiple time in the day, make sure you rinse your face with warm water and apply a light and oil free face lotion.  Now of course, if you have makeup on then make sure you cleanse! But you still don’t need to repeat your daily skin care routine to rinse off your “glow”!
- Run a blast of hot air through your damp hair and it will re-shape! If it still looks a little limp, twist it up in a messy bun or add a sparkly headband to distract from your not-so-fresh roots.

After work event.
Why start from scratch when you can get to the party on time?
- Instead of washing off your morning application of makeup, take a warm washcloth with a dab of cleanser and wipe off any splotchy face makeup.  Take a clean warm washcloth to remove the cleanser. Voila! Just reapply where needed. Eye makeup tends outlast face makeup, so if anything you can add a little smokey eye touch to your already applied shadow and mascara.
- Spray a little soft-hold hairspray towards your roots and lift and scrunch.  Pull your hair to the side into a low and messy bun.  No one will ever know your secret!

Before bed.  Too tired for your routine!
You don’t need to completely stress about your skin if you just don’t have it in you to pull out the whole shabang.
- Make sure, no matter HOW tired you are, that you at least sneak in a cleansing! If you just can’t get yourself motivated, make sure you at least apply a healthy dose of your evening cream or lotion.  You can then sleep soundly.

Do any of you have any short cuts that you like to take when time is tight?
